Orientation unit ‘Media and Communication B.A.’ in the winter semester 2024/25
In the orientation unit (OU) for the ‘Media and Communication B.A.’ degree programme, you will learn everything you need to know for a successful start to your studies at the Department of Information, Media and Communication: In addition to information on the structure and concept of the degree programme, you will meet professors and lecturers and learn to set your expectations.
Alongside the fixed programme items, you will have the opportunity to network with your fellow students and talk about your previous experiences. During the OU, we will provide you with everything you need to use our media technology equipment, IT environment and library.
The programme will be rounded off with workshops on personal health during your studies, diversity at HAW and aspects of administration and security. In addition to topics of an academic nature, we also look at the university's international activities and opportunities to study abroad.
