HAW goes USA HAW goes USA

As part of its 'HAW goes USA 2020' strategy HAW Hamburg defined four of its twelve USA university cooperations as strategic partnerships. In addition to regular student exchange, each university cooperation is also focusing on different formats of faculty exchange to strengthen and deepen the collaborations.

The partnerships with Virginia Tech (aeronautical engineering), CSULB (Business, Film) as well as MICA (Design) are currently recognised as strategic university partnerships and receive funding through the ISAP programme from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The cooperation with the University of Rhode Island also received ISAP funding from 2011-2017. Click on the university logos to learn more.
