The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science offers future-oriented degree courses with excellent career prospects.
The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science is the largest faculty at HAW Hamburg, teaching approximately 6,000 students in four departments and 21 degree courses. It addresses important societal issues such as the mobility of the future, digitialisation and sustainable energy. We ensure students' professional success not only by imparting the necessary technical and academic knowledge, but also by enabling the practical application of this knowledge in labs and companies.
Our faculty is led by the dean's office, which is advised and overseen by a faculty council. The faculty administration supports the faculty in carrying out its work. The dean's office, the administrative offices, the departments, and the research and transfer centres are all located at the Berliner Tor campus.
