The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science offers you specially designed degree courses with individual supervision and a significant practical component.

Our faculty is home to 13 Bachelor's degree courses and 12 Master's degree courses. Unlike the case at classical universities, practical experience is very important to us: our students don't just attend lectures and seminars, they also spend a significant amount of time working in labs, workshops and companies. As a graduate, you are optimally prepared to transition smoothly and successfully into your career.

In our teaching we focus particularly on having you apply your knowledge in a practical way. We also emphasise innovative and suitable teaching methods. A cooperative degree programme is a good option for those students who want to work in a company as part of their studies. The international Information Engineering degree course takes place in English only. We also offer Bachelor's degree courses in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering for Chinese students in cooperation with the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
